This site sets four cookies. All four are ours, three are needed for the site to work, the fourth remembers your answer about visitor statistics, and none of them tracks you.
This is every cookie the site sets. There is no second list, and no category you have to switch off.
| Name | What it holds | Lifetime | Why it is needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| lyt_cookies_ok | That you have seen the cookie notice | 1 year | So the notice does not reappear on every page you open |
| lyt_analytics | Your answer about visitor statistics: yes or no | 1 year | So we count visits only if you said yes, and do not ask again on every page |
| lyt_lang | The language you chose | 1 year | So the site stays in that language instead of guessing again |
| lyt_invited | That a valid invitation code was entered in this browser | Session | So the site opens for you. Before launch the site is closed without it |
The banner asks whether we may count your visits. Say yes, and the site loads Umami's counter from our own server. Say no, and it is never loaded. Declining is as easy as allowing, and the site works the same either way. The pages for our own operators are never counted.
Umami sets no cookies of its own and stores no IP address. What it keeps is described on the privacy page. The only cookie involved is lyt_analytics, which holds your answer.
To change your answer, use the button below or delete the lyt_analytics cookie. The banner then asks again.
All four cookies are set with SameSite=Lax, so they are not sent when another site links to us in a way that could be used to follow you.
No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social media buttons that phone home. No third-party scripts of any kind, which is why no third party can set a cookie here even if it wanted to.
We also do not use localStorage, sessionStorage or browser fingerprinting to work around the absence of cookies.
You can delete these cookies or block them in your browser settings. The site will still load, but it will ask for your language again, ask about statistics again, and — before launch — ask for your invitation code again.
If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will ask for your consent before setting it, and this page will list it with the same detail as the four above.
